Chef de Partie – The Black Horse, High Barnet

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Black Horse, a premium, experience-led pub in High Barnet. We've just launched food and we're building something that stands out from the usual pub offering, quality over volume, every plate consistent.

What you'll do

You'll run your section during service, working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep food coming out fast and right. Prep, plating, stock rotation, keeping your station clean and compliant, all part of the job. You'll take direction on the menu but you'll also have a say in how your section runs day to day.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience as a CDP or strong Commis ready to step up
• You can handle a busy pass without losing your head
• You care about consistency, not just getting food out
• Food hygiene certificate (or willing to get one)
• Available to work weekends, we trade Wednesday to Sunday

Pay and hours

£13.75 per hour plus tronc. Hours vary by role, we've got both full-time and part-time positions across the week, heaviest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
