Chef de Partie

The National Piping Centre is currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join The Pipers' Tryst restaurant staff, in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.

The Pipers' Tryst, within The National Piping Centre, has a 40 seat restaurant serving top quality Scottish dishes with a modern twist, as well as housing an 8 bedroom boutique hotel. There is also an events space which is used to run weddings, with a seating capacity of 120, as well as special events, conferences, schools and more. You will be expected to work flexibly across shifts from breakfast to end of service in the restaurant and for large events within our venue. We are in very close proximity to the Theatre Royal, so are especially popular at pre-theatre time for diners.

Experience needed:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a professional kitchen

• Competency in general running of the kitchen

• Maintaining cleanliness standards and HACCP checks

• Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality

• Banqueting experience

• Shift work: Must be available evenings and weekends

• Can do attitude
