Chef – Itahlia Restaurant

Itahlia Restaurant in Sunbury is looking for a casual Chef to join our friendly and professional kitchen team.

We are passionate about Italian food and take pride in delivering fresh, quality dishes and a great dining experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy team environment and takes pride in their work.

The Role

• Prepare and cook Italian dishes, pizzas, pastas and other menu items
• Assist with food preparation, kitchen organisation and daily service
• Follow recipes, menus and food safety procedures
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised
• Assist with functions, events and special bookings
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

About You

• 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen preferred
• Experience with Italian cuisine is an advantage
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Available for evenings and weekends

Additional shifts may be available depending on bookings, functions and events. Job Ready and/or future sponsorship may available

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
