CHEF DE PARTIE

About the role

You'll be working across a fantastic mix of kitchen prep and event work, with everything from beautiful weddings and corporate events, large-scale functions and concerts. No two weeks are quite the same — and that's exactly what makes this role great.

Key responsibilities

• Prep days in the kitchen
• Weddings
• Corporate functions
• Large-scale events and concerts
• On-site event cooking, plating and service
• Working across different locations throughout Queenstown and the surrounding area
• Supporting senior chefs with prep, organisation and event execution
• Running your section confidently in a busy kitchen
• Delivering exceptional food on-site at events
• Working alongside Head and Sous chefs

About you

• Solid experience as a Chef de Partie
• Strong prep, cooking and organisational skills
• Experience in events or high-volume service is a bonus
• Great attention to detail and presentation
• The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Great communication and teamwork
• High standards around food safety and cleanliness
• Reliability — particularly through the busy summer event season
