Plates is a brand-new café, restaurant & wine bar in Hillsborough, and we’re looking for enthusiastic people to join our kitchen team from the very beginning.

We’re want enthusiastic, hardworking and talented people who want to develop their skills and be part of building something special.

Our food will celebrate great local and seasonal ingredients, with a modern take on classic brunch during the day and a relaxed, creative small-plates menu in the evenings.

We have created a kitchen that is professional, ambitious and genuinely enjoyable to work in and want to continue that with some extra hands. A kitchen where standards are high, but where people are treated with respect.

OUR HOURS

We’ll be open 5 days a week, but our evening service will operate on just 3 nights per week.

That means we can build a kitchen rota around sensible working patterns and give our team a much better balance between work and life outside the kitchen.

EXPERIENCE & ATTITUDE

Previous professional kitchen experience is essential but attitude matters just as much.
