CHEF DE PARTIE

About the role

You'll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food across our busy restaurant service at Mora Wines & Artisan Kitchen in Arrowtown, Queenstown. This is a full-time, fixed-term role from October 2026 until the end of April 2027, with daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Running your section confidently and efficiently
• Prep and service
• Maintaining consistently high food and presentation standards
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services
• Following food safety and Food Control Plan requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient section
• Assisting with stock control, rotation and reducing wastage
• Contributing positively to a strong, supportive kitchen culture

About you

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Chef de Partie
• Confident working in a busy, quality-driven kitchen
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Reliable, organised and a great team player
• Able to work confidently across sections
• Good communication skills
• Available to commit through until the end of April 2027
• Legal right to work in New Zealand for the full duration of the contract
