Chef de Partie

The role

You’ll play an important part in delivering a consistent, high-quality experience in our busy small plates restaurant, serving up to 120 covers on peak nights.

Working as part of the kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
• Taking responsibility for your section during service
• Completing mise en place efficiently and keeping your section organised
• Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver smooth services
• Following recipes, presentation standards and portion controls
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety
• Monitoring stock, rotating ingredients and helping to minimise waste
• Supporting with deliveries, storage and kitchen preparation as required
• Helping to train and support junior members of the kitchen team
• Staying calm, focused and organised during busy services

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• A strong work ethic and a genuine interest in food
• Good organisation and the ability to manage your section effectively
• High standards of cleanliness, consistency and attention to detail
• The ability to work well under pressure as part of a team
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the kitchen team

Location and accessibility

Our restaurant is in Monton, Eccles, with easy access from Eccles, Swinton and Manchester City Centre.
