Goldy’s Tavern is a big-hearted, award-winning pub in Collingwood, and a beloved local that also draws people from across town. Think the warmth of a good country pub (open fire, cold beer, cracking food) set down in the middle of Melbourne’s inner north.

We’ve got a loyal crowd, a kitchen that’s busy all week, a crew that loves what they do, and a reputation we’re proud of. Now we’re after a creative, results-driven Chef de Partie to join the team and help us keep raising the bar.

What’s cooking

Our food is fresh and simple, built on great produce and done properly. There’s no fuss and no foams, just food that tastes like someone cares about it. Specials rotate regularly with the seasons and whatever our suppliers are excited about, so the menu never sits still.

Where you come in

You’ll get a real say in the menu and the specials board. If you’ve got an idea for a dish, we want to hear it, taste it and maybe put it on the board that week. We want someone who’s creative, curious and keen to put their own stamp on the food, while running a tight, consistent section when the pass is flying.

You’ll bring

• Solid experience as a CDP or strong Demi ready to step up
• A love of good produce and simple food done well
• Ideas, energy and a willingness to have a crack
