Pay. $26- $30 Depending on experience

Minimum Hour 30 Maximum Hour 45

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position purpose

Prepare and maintain excellent standards of food preparation and presentation for a range of meal of cuisine

Main tasks

Core objectives include:

· Preparing a range of meals for guests of the venue, including, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks to a high standard

· Ensure menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed

· Supervise and manage kitchen operations as required

· Is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area is in line with current health regulation standards

· You will be passionate about cooking and interested in different cuisine

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

· Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or Equivalent

Experience

· Relevant practical experience as a chef with the ability to display required competencies

· Minimum 2 year experience as a CHEF ( New Zealand experience is advantage )

Knowledge

· Knowledge of various cooking techniques and their various outcomes

· Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely**,** varying communication style depending upon the audience.
