Chef de Rang (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Chef de Rang who knows that it takes good taste to recognise good taste — and that great service is no different. You know that exceptional hospitality is all about the details: the right timing, a thoughtful touch, and a genuine connection with every guest. With your professionalism, flair, and passion for creating memorable moments, you help turn every meal at AMA Stay into something truly special.

Tasks

• Welcome guests, accompany them to their tables, and provide knowledgeable information about dishes and beverages
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Orderman and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar
• Work closely with the Commis de Rang, coordinating tasks through clear communication and supporting a smooth service
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere
• Support the training and development of team members by sharing knowledge and experience
• Organise the daily mise en place together with the Commis de Rang
• Maintain a welcoming and well-organised dining environment throughout the service
• Handle guest and service-related issues calmly and in a solution-oriented way
• Complete the cash register closing and ensure accurate payment handling at the end of the evening
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve our service and guest experience

Requirements

• Several years of experience in fine dining restaurant service or a similar hospitality role
• Fluent in Italian and English; German is an advantage
• Open-minded, eager to learn, and committed to personal and professional development
• Strong problem-solving mindset and a solution-oriented approach
• Excellent guest orientation and strong communication skills
