JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and well-versed Home Cooking Chef to independently manage daily meal preparation in a private residence. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indian and home-style cooking, maintain high standards of hygiene, and consistently prepare fresh, nutritious, and flavourful meals according to the household's preferences.

Key Responsibilities: -

A. Daily Meal Preparation

• Prepare fresh breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other meals as required.
• Cook a variety of Indian and home-style cuisines with consistent taste and quality.
• Prepare meals according to the household's preferences, dietary requirements, and instructions.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and timely preparation of meals.

B. Menu Planning & Food Preparation

• Plan daily and weekly menus based on household preferences and available ingredients.
• Select and use fresh, high-quality ingredients appropriately.
• Manage preparation, cooking, storage, and reheating of food efficiently.
• Maintain consistency in taste, nutrition, and quality.

C. Kitchen Hygiene & Management

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while preparing food.
• Keep the cooking area, utensils, appliances, and work surfaces clean and organized.
• Follow safe food handling, storage, and cooking practices.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.

D. Household Cooking Support

• Maintain awareness of household food preferences and regularly required ingredients.
• Inform the household when essential groceries or cooking supplies are required.
• Maintain proper organization of kitchen ingredients and cooking supplies.

Experience required: -

• Proven experience as a Home Chef / Household Chef is mandatory.
• Strong practical experience in Indian and home-style cooking.
• Well-versed in preparing a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ability to independently manage daily household cooking requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent cooking skills with consistent taste and quality.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Clean, hygienic, and disciplined approach to cooking.
• Honest, trustworthy, punctual, and responsible.

KEY REQUIREMENT

An experienced, skilled, and well-versed Home Cooking Chef who can independently handle daily household cooking and consistently prepare high-quality, hygienic, and flavourful home-style meals.
