Chef / Kitchen Staff

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join the kitchen team at The Dove in Chingford.

We’re a busy, friendly pub with a strong Sunday lunch trade, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a small team.

THE ROLE

You’ll be helping with:

• Preparing and cooking fresh pub food
• Sunday roast preparation and service
• General food preparation
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Stock rotation and food safety
• Working alongside our existing kitchen and front-of-house team

HOURS

Full-time or part-time hours can be considered.

Weekend availability is essential.

In particular, you must be available for Sunday prep and Sunday lunch service, as this is one of our busiest and most important trading days.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous kitchen or chef experience would be ideal, but we’re also interested in people with the right attitude who are reliable and keen to learn.

You should be:

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
• Able to work weekends
• A good team player
• Friendly and hardworking

Experience with traditional pub food and Sunday roasts would be a big advantage.
