Chef - Nordic Dining Concept

About the role

The Nordic Deli is looking for a passionate and creative chef to help develop and launch Nordic Dining evenings. This is an opportunity to be involved from the beginning and help shape the menu and dining concept.

• Help shape the menu and dining concept for Nordic Dining evenings

About you

• Passionate and creative
• Excited about creating simple, authentic Nordic-inspired food using fresh, quality ingredients

What we are looking for

·       Experience as a chef and an enjoyment of developing new dishes

·       An interest in Nordic or Scandinavian cuisine

·       Ability to create food that is simple, fresh and full of flavour

·       An understanding of how to design a menu that is practical and commercially viable

·       A collaborative approach and willingness to bring new ideas to the table

·       Ability to help develop a small, manageable evening menu

·       Availability Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday evenings

You don't necessarily need to be Scandinavian or have worked in a Nordic restaurant. We are more interested in finding the right person with creativity, passion and a genuine interest in Nordic food.

The role could initially be part-time or casual, with the opportunity to grow as our Nordic Dining concept develops.
