Chef (Part Time)

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet quality standards
• Cooking Pasta - Salads - preparing platters - new recipes - cooking pizzas from dough balls
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently serving dishes and managing meal presentation
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately while demonstrating culinary techniques that enhance flavor and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure all ingredients are available for meal preparation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
• Demonstrated ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and serving guests
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting
• Culinary experience that showcases versatility across different cuisines is a plus
• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
