What they need
About the role
Full-time position for Asian chefs and cooks at Fusion Delights, preparing and cooking food across Asian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Key responsibilities
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
About you
- Minimum 1 year experience as Chef or Cook
- Cooking qualification - Certificate 3/4 cookery or equivalent
- Functional English
- Experience in Asian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine preferred
- Skills Assessment as Chef or Cook not mandatory
