About the role

Whitton Malt House is a busy regional dining and events venue outside Leeton and Griffith, running à la carte service alongside functions and events. We're looking for a chef or cook who can hold a section, deliver consistent, high-quality food.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver quality food across à la carte, functions, and events

• Work as part of the team on prep, section service & pack down

• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards

• Rotate and label stock, minimise waste, and keep storage areas organised

• Follow standardised recipes for prep and dish presentation

About you

• Any level of experience — from developing cooks to experienced chefs

• Calm and organised under pressure

• A strong work ethic, with a consistent record of punctuality and reliability

• Clear communicator, works well as part of a team

• Available for a flexible roster including weekends

• $32 – $40 per hour + super
