Chef/Cook

The Half Moon is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in producing fresh, tasty, good-quality food and enjoys creating dishes that look as good as they taste.

-The Role

Initially, we are looking for someone who is available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the potential for additional hours as the business develops.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a varied menu, including:

⁠ -Eye-catching and delicious Sunday roasts

⁠ ⁠-Bottomless brunch dishes

⁠ ⁠-Breakfast

⁠ ⁠-Good-quality village pub favourites

⁠ -General pub meals and specials

We want someone who can bring enthusiasm and creativity to the kitchen while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and consistency.

⁠ ⁠Previous experience in a cook or chef role

⁠ ⁠A genuine passion for food and hospitality

⁠ ⁠Ability to produce tasty, well-presented, good-quality dishes

⁠ ⁠Confidence working in a busy kitchen environment

⁠ ⁠Good organisation and the ability to work under pressure

⁠ ⁠Reliable, hardworking and a positive attitude

⁠ ⁠Someone who takes pride in their food and enjoys being part of a team

Wages are negotiable on experience.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
