Helliwell Hospitality is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join the team at Surf Air. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will:

• Deliver high-quality food preparation and presentation at all times
• Manage stock levels in line with company procedures and recipes
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
• Keep a clean, organised kitchen during and after service
• Support the Head Chef with cost control and achieving budget targets
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the kitchen team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience (prep and à la carte – lunch & dinner essential)
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience in fast-paced, service-driven venues
• A passion for food and a strong guest focus
• Solid understanding of food hygiene practices
• Ability to perform under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• A team-first mindset with the ability to work unsupervised
