We’re hiring – Chef / Cook
Pig & Potato, York
£13.50 per hour | 30+ hours per week
We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic chef or cook to join our small team at Pig & Potato, our independent bar and bistro in York city centre.
We serve homemade comfort food, including our signature handmade sausages and mash, from a fully gluten-free kitchen.
You’ll need kitchen experience, good food hygiene standards and a passion for preparing proper homemade food. A good eye for presentation is essential, making sure every plate leaves the pass looking its best.
You should be comfortable working in a small team and keeping things organised during busy services. The role includes food preparation, cooking and helping maintain a clean, well-run kitchen.
Weekend availability is essential.
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
