Chef/Kitchen Manager

*Overview*

We are seeking a capable and creative chef to join our experienced culinary team in our fantastic pub. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional guest experiences.

*Responsibilities*

• Support and develop the kitchen team, bringing your experience to the kitchen

• Have input on menus and create innovative dishes while maintaining cost control

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation processes

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

• Assint in the management of inventory, ordering, and stock control

• Collaborate with management on menu development and special event offerings

*Qualifications*

• Extensive experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Proficient in food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and menu planning

• Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations

• Proven track record in managing kitchen operations efficiently

• Culinary qualification or relevant certification is desirable

• Passion for creating exceptional dishes and delivering outstanding dining experiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
