Join the team at Hazy Tiger a vibrant and fast-paced restaurant group located in the heart of Auckland CBD. We are looking for passionate and skilled Chefs to join our kitchen team. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in a full-time position, working 4–5 days per week. Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is required.

About the Role

As a Chef at Hazy Tiger, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistent standard
• Handle food preparation and mise en place for daily service
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
• Assist with general kitchen duties as required

About You

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is required
• Confident with basic food preparation and knife skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong attention to food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Available to work 4–5 days per week, including evenings and weekends
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
