Responsibilities

-Go over batchsheet with reactor operator to understand what need to be done during the production of the batch

-Clean reactor, dry, and get ready for production of the batch as instructed by SOP

-Gather raw materials needed to make batch. Material lots to be used will be printed on batch sheet.

-Set up any equipment required to make batch.

-Assist reactor operator in making batch, this includes lifting totes/drums or dumping bags into reactors.

-Assist reactor operator with packaging the material into appropriate containers.

-Once packaged, clean tops of totes, label, and store in locations approved for material

-Once reactor has been emptied clean out all equipment used, reactors, filters, pumps, hoses and drumming equipment. Making sure work area is clean and ready for another batch

Requirements

-Operator must be able to lift raw materials in bags and dump into reactors when necessary usually around 50-60 lbs.

-Handling of chemical hose and Diaphragm pumps require lifting and pushing.

-At times drums require to be tilted, this allows for the material to be completely removed from the drums

-Small addition of 40lbs. or less are done in a 5gallon bucket, operators must be able to carry and lift bucket to reactors for additions.
