Chemical Dosing Technician

We are looking for an experienced Chemical Dosing Technician to join our team at a Drinking Water Plant in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix water treatment chemicals according to the required ratios and procedures.
• Measure and control chemical dosing levels accurately.
• Operate and monitor chemical dosing pumps and related equipment.
• Add and adjust chemicals according to water quality requirements.
• Monitor chemical tanks, dosing systems, and treatment equipment.
• Conduct basic water quality checks and record test results.
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage and dosing activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals.
• Monitor the treatment process and report any abnormalities or issues.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the chemical dosing and treatment areas.
• Coordinate with the plant operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chemical dosing, water treatment, or a drinking water plant.
• Practical experience in mixing and preparing water treatment chemicals.
• Good understanding of chemical dosing and correct mixing ratios.
• Experience operating chemical dosing pumps and related equipment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and water quality testing.
• Ability to safely handle and store water treatment chemicals.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow chemical dosing procedures accurately.
• Ability to identify and report issues with dosing systems or treatment processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment and flexible shifts when required.
