About the Role

Pleiad Engineering Solutions is looking for a motivated Diploma Chemical Engineering Intern to gain practical industrial exposure in Projects, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems and process equipment.

The intern will work with experienced engineers and gain hands-on exposure to engineering, manufacturing and project activities related to industrial process equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineered team with basic calculations and technical documentation.
• Understand and interpret PFDs, P&IDs and process flow systems.
• Gain practical exposure to Evaporators, ATFD, Heat Exchangers, Strippers, Tanks and other process equipment.
• Understand the fundamentals and operation of ZLD systems and wastewater treatment processes.
• Coordinate with Process, Design, Production, QA/QC and Project teams.
• Visit the manufacturing facility and project sites to understand fabrication, installation and commissioning activities.
• Follow company procedures and maintain required industrial safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering – pursuing or recently completed.
• Basic knowledge of Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in an industrial environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to factory/project sites as required.
