Job Title: Chemist II (531412)

Location: North Haven, CT (Onsite)

Position Type: Contract ($40 - $45/hr)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Chemist II to join our Moisture Testing Laboratory team in North Haven, CT. In this role, you will support various established testing methods, including sample preparation, instrument setup, sample execution, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sample preparation, testing, data analysis, and reporting for methods such as UV-Visible spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Karl Fischer Moisture Analysis.

• Execute testing protocols in strict accordance with internal SOPs and medical device/product development process controls.

• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional team members to verify products meet customer specifications.

• Identify and troubleshoot common/uncommon technical problems of moderate scope using standard analytical techniques.

• Maintain effective team communication and adhere strictly to laboratory safety policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

• Hands-on experience with UV-Vis, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Karl Fischer Moisture Analysis.

• Strong adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and data integrity.
