About the role
Responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory analyses while ensuring compliance with approved methods, quality standards, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of laboratory samples using approved methods
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and solutions
- Operate and properly maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of test results
- Complete at least 95% of assigned daily workload
- Ensure on-time preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of assigned equipment
- Ensure reagents are reordered within the established reorder point to prevent testing delays
- Maintain 100% updated quality control charts
- Follow laboratory safety, quality control, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Participate in training, competency assessment, and continuous improvement activities
About you
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Licensed Chemist (required)
- Laboratory experience (advantageous)
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 (advantageous)
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet deadlines
