Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chemist with strong exposure to Construction Chemicals and Dry-Mix products. The role will involve product development, formulation, raw material evaluation, quality improvement, competitor benchmarking, and providing technical support at customer/project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve construction chemical products such as renders & plasters, tile adhesives, tile grouts, masonry & repair mortars, screeds, self-leveling compounds, epoxy systems, and waterproofing products.
• Work on formulation development and optimization, ensuring products meet required technical and performance standards.
• Apply strong knowledge of construction chemical raw materials and identify suitable alternatives for cost and performance optimization.
• Conduct laboratory testing and evaluation of new raw materials to assess their suitability, quality, and impact on product performance.
• Carry out product trials, performance testing, and quality evaluations during product development.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
• 4–8+ years of relevant experience in Construction Chemicals / Dry-Mix industry.
• Hands-on experience with formulation, product development, and raw material testing.
• Practical knowledge of tile grouts and epoxy systems, including colour matching.
• Good understanding of construction chemical products, applications, and performance parameters.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office tools.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory , as the role requires regular site visits and customer support.
