🕒 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chemist I to support manufacturing operations, quality control testing, and bioreagent preparation. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemistry or life sciences, hands-on laboratory experience, and knowledge of GMP/GLP practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain production schedules.
• Investigate process issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Follow established procedures and adhere to laboratory safety protocols.
• Perform in-process quality control testing, quality inspections, and titrations of manufacturing materials.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards.
• Develop and follow protocols to support product improvement.
• Prepare critical and non-critical bioreagents according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate manufacturing activities and maintain adequate raw bioreagent supplies to meet production requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with the following laboratory techniques and equipment:
• Pipetting
• Spectrophotometry
• High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
• pH meters
• Gel electrophoresis / SDS-PAGE
• ELISA assays

Key Competencies

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team under moderate supervision.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, manufacturing software, and word processing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and laboratory safety.
