Chemist

AUECC-Reno, Inc. is looking for a Chemist to join our growing team. The Chemist will conduct analysis of electronic grade chemicals such as acids, bases and solvents using wet chemistry, auto titrator, TOC Analyzer, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC and GC/MS.

Responsibilities:

• Use SEMI and ACS wet chemistry methods to analyze chemicals
• Conduct routine analysis using an auto titrator, KF water analyzer, TOC Analyzer and UV/Vis.
• Operate and maintain instruments such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC and GC/MS.
• Analyze sub-ppt level trace metals using ICP-MS.
• Prepare standards and solutions.
• Record data electronically as well as manually
• Make calculations according to detailed standard operating procedures/instructions.
• Interpret and analyze data
• Monitor chemical processes using SPC as part of quality assurance
• Maintain appropriate laboratory supply levels by ordering from vendors.
• Manage time effectively and efficiently by organizing daily activities to achieve expected results.
• Maintain a cleanroom environment by adhering to cleanroom protocols and cleaning schedule.
• Clean sample bottles and other containers per defined protocols and procedures
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, including the ability to function effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' work experience with chemical analysis in a laboratory environment.
• Must possess strong mathematical skills, good grammar and spelling.
