Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Financial Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and statements.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies in financial reports.
• Expense Management: Processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling payroll functions.
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Reporting: Preparing regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Internal Controls: Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinating and leading annual audits; liaising with external auditors.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, 1C, Excel, and financial modeling
• Ability to work with a large amount of information, organize, plan work, draw conclusions and propose solutions
• Proficiency in Russian is a must
• Proficiency in English (B1) and Romanian (B1) will be an advantage

Salary expectations
