Chief Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, payroll, petty cash, and bank reconciliation.

* Assist with the pre-opening / pre-set-up of the Finance & Accounting function, including systems, procedures, documentation, controls, and financial processes.

* Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in accordance with PSAK.

* Manage monthly and annual closing processes.

* Prepare monthly and annual P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.

* Monitor and control operational costs across F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Administration.

* Review procurement requests, quotations, invoices, and supporting documentation.

* Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.

* Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash-flow planning.

* Monitor CAPEX expenditure against approved budgets.

* Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, PPN, PB1, and other statutory requirements.

* Manage BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan administration and reporting.

* Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant government authorities.

* Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls.

* Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready financial documentation.

* Provide financial insights and recommendations to management and operational departments.

* Work closely with other departments to establish effective financial and administrative procedures during the pre-opening stage.

REQUIREMENTS

* Indonesian citizen (WNI).

* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 4–6 years of hospitality accounting experience.

* Experience in a villa, resort, or boutique hotel is preferred.

* Pre-opening / pre-set-up experience is highly desirable.

* Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation and financial regulations.

* Experience with PMS / POS financial integration.

* Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

* Advanced Excel and accounting software skills.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.

* High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

* Brevet A/B certification and audit experience are an advantage.

SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE

Experience with the following is an advantage:

* Accurate / Jurnal / QuickBooks or equivalent

* Cloudbeds or equivalent PMS

* Moca or equivalent POS

* Payroll and HR systems

* Advanced Excel and financial reporting dashboards

* Procurement and inventory management systems
