Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely financial reporting. This role manages the accounting team and supports financial planning and decision-making. Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting operations Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure timely submission of management reports Analyze financial results and explain variances Coordinate internal and external audits Prepare required documentation for auditors and tax authorities Supervise and train accounting staff Assign tasks and review team performance Ensure workflow efficiency within the accounting department

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience: 5 10 years Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5 10 years of accounting experience, including supervisory role Strong knowledge of accounting software Strong analytical and leadership skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Financial reporting & analysis Leadership & team management Problem-solving ability Time management and organization Strong communication skills
