Chief Accountant

About the role

Chief Accountant position based in Nusa Penida at Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort, a barefoot luxury resort located in Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali. Deep Roots was created with a deep love and respect for nature and the surrounding community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Manage P&L report and analysis, cash flow, and daily revenue reporting
• Handle tax reporting
• Use data analytics tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from financial data
• Oversee Villa/Resort operational workflow from an accounting perspective

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Accountant or Chief Accountant
• Good understanding of Villa/Resort operational workflow
• Knowledge in P&L report and analysis, cash flow, and daily revenue reporting
• Good understanding of Tax Reporting
• Familiar with the VHP Hotel system
• Proficient in using data analytics tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from financial data
• Relevant educational and experience background
• English preferred
• Open-minded and can work in a team
