Join a leading payments technology group and become part of a finance function that values structure, accountability, and continuous improvement. As Chief Accountant, you will play a key role in strengthening accounting excellence and supporting the company’s growth journey.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of 7 accounting professionals and be closely involved in finance transformation initiatives, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in line with corporate timelines and reporting standards;
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, inventory processes, and external audits;
• Review and improve local accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Group policies and internal controls;
• Work closely with other teams to support broader business objectives;
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance finance culture and support the development of your team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• At least 7 years of relevant experience leading and coordinating accounting teams in an international environment;
• Exposure to complex intercompany transactions, tax audits, tax compliance oversight, SAF-T implementation, and interaction with tax authorities;
• Experience with external and internal audits;
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy;
• Fluent English and advanced Excel skills;
• Experience with complex ERP systems such as Charisma, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar, with super user responsibilities for testing and enhancements.
