CHIEF ACCOUNTANT – OIL and GAS

Our client, a leading company in the Oil and Gas sector, is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Monitor financial records, accounting processes, and internal controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and financial policies.· Provide financial information and insights to support management decision-making.· Work closely with internal teams and senior management on financial matters.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant accounting experience.· Strong experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
Experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial controls. Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIMA is an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
