Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering and Maintenance Department.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs for hotel facilities and equipment.
• Supervise and lead the engineering team to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
• Monitor building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and other mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets and inventory.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and operational concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; licensed electrical engineer required.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Experience in engineering or facilities management; hotel experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems, preventive maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies when needed.
