What they need
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
- Licensed Engineer (PRC License) is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, or building maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, elevators, generators, and water treatment systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with Philippine Building Code, Fire Code, Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), and other applicable government regulations.
- Experience in managing engineering teams, contractors, and maintenance schedules.
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and inventory management skills for engineering operations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills with other hotel departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
