Function Description

Stepping Into The Engine Room As a Chief Engineer Requires a Hands-on Approach And a Sharp Eye For Machinery. Here Is What We Expect From You To Keep Our Vessel Running Smoothly

• Managing the main engine, auxiliary machinery, and automation systems during your watch and daily rounds.
• Overseeing the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and troubleshooting technical snags before they cause downtime.
• Leading your engine crew, mentoring junior engineers, and seizing onboard growth opportunities.
• Holding a valid CoC - Chief Engineer (STCW III/2) along with High Voltage and Advanced Firefighting certifications.
• Possessing up-to-date safety and medical certificates including Basic Safety Training, Medical First Aid, and Ship Security Officer (SSO).
