Chief Executive Officer

Prospera Executive is mandated by a private equity investor in connection with a potential Chief Executive Officer appointment for a commercial roofing and specialty contracting business.

The company provides commercial roofing services across a diverse customer base, including commercial, municipal and federal customers. The business is entering an important phase of its development and requires an experienced operating executive capable of stabilising performance, strengthening the organisation and positioning the company for its next phase of growth.

This opportunity is particularly suited to a hands-on CEO, President or senior operating executive who has previously led an operational turnaround or performance improvement programme within a project-based, field-services environment.

The Role

The successful executive would assume overall responsibility for the performance and strategic direction of the business, with a mandate likely to include:

• Full P&L and operational leadership of a c.$150m organisation
• Assessing current business performance and establishing clear priorities
• Driving operational and commercial improvement
• Strengthening accountability and performance management across the organisation
• Evaluating and developing the existing leadership team
• Improving project execution, margins and cash generation
• Working closely with the private equity sponsor and Board
• Developing a sustainable platform for future growth and value creation

Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in executives who bring:

• Previous experience as a CEO, President, COO or senior P&L leader
• A demonstrable track record of turnaround, transformation or performance improvement
• Experience leading a substantial multi-location or field-based organisation
• Strong financial and operational discipline
• Experience operating within a private equity-backed environment
• The ability to lead through complexity while remaining highly hands-on
• Strong leadership credentials and the ability to build high-performing management teams

Direct experience within commercial roofing would be highly relevant, although we would also consider exceptional executives from adjacent sectors including specialty contracting, building envelope, commercial construction, facilities services and other project-based field services businesses.
