CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

About the role

Provides both operational and programmatic support to the company. The CFO supervises the finance unit and is the chief finance spoke person for the company. Assist GCEO on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial matters in Selia Group companies, India & Bosnia operations including review of management accounts, financing, audit, tax matters and compliance with laws and regulatory authorities
• Ensure adherence to the accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Provide leadership to the Group Finance Department and manage the financial and operational risk of the company
• Manage financial planning and record keeping as well as financial reporting to higher management and the Board of Directors
• Ensure public relations activities with financial institutions, external consultants, clients and statutory bodies are well maintained
• Manage internal control of the Company, financial management and external funding to ensure smooth operations
• Execute strategic investments and ensure the financial health of the organization is well maintained
• Provide strategic business advice to higher management and assistance from the financial standpoint
• Ensure operational cost efficiency and proper accounting functions
• Formulate and review financial and accounting policies to achieve high standard of transparency, corporate governance and accountabilities

About you

• Degree in Accountancy or Professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent
• At least 10 years of financial and senior management experience with day-to-day financial operations
