Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Chief Maintenance professional to lead our facilities maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will coordinate maintenance teams, develop strategic plans for ongoing facility upkeep, and implement best practices to optimize performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence through proactive management and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Supervise the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems—including high voltage equipment—using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and compliance documentation in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure all team members are trained on maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations related to HVAC system repair, electrical systems, plumbing maintenance, and industrial maintenance protocols.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness while managing day-to-day operations to uphold high standards of facilities management.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage—and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols within industrial or facilities environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, planning, and communication purposes.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience managing facilities using CMMS software for scheduling preventive maintenance and tracking work orders.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively while promoting a safety-first culture.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
