About the Role

As part of its continued growth and transformation journey, the company is seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer to join its senior leadership team. This is a highly visible role operating at the intersection of brand, corporate reputation, consumer understanding, and commercial strategy. Reporting directly to executive leadership and working closely with the Management Board, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organization engages consumers, stakeholders, partners, and the wider market. As CMO, you will be responsible for building stronger connections between corporate communications, consumer insights, business intelligence, and category strategy. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating market and consumer understanding into impactful business decisions and integrated communication initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leading the corporate marketing agenda across multiple markets and brands
• Overseeing public relations and corporate communications activities
• Driving consumer insights and market intelligence capabilities to support strategic decision-making
• Managing business intelligence initiatives and translating data into actionable recommendations
• Developing sponsorship, partnership, and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Identifying synergies between communication activities and category growth strategies
• Strengthening the company's reputation and market positioning among consumers and external stakeholders
• Collaborating closely with commercial, category, and executive leadership teams to support business objectives

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Significant senior leadership experience in marketing, corporate communications, brand management, or related disciplines
• Proven success within FMCG, consumer goods, retail, consumer services, or similarly consumer-focused environments
• Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and reputation management
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that connect brand, communications, commercial, and business priorities
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to leverage consumer insights and business intelligence in strategic decision-making
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Natural executive presence, social charisma, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Strategic mindset combined with commercial acumen and business curiosity
• Experience working with senior leadership teams and boards in complex, multinational organizations
