About the role

Responsible for coordinating and managing Engineer and Technician activities within the Mechanical Electrical Workshop, ensuring equipment-related work, reporting, improvement activities, and operational support are completed effectively and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily/weekly work for Engineers and Technicians
• Ensure work progress is completed according to schedule
• Support equipment-related activities and technical problem solving
• Ensure proper backup and continuity of engineering activities when required
• Develop and propose equipment/process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate training and competency development for Engineers and Technicians
• Monitor team KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Follow up on issues and ensure timely completion of action items
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve equipment and operational issues
• Support management in equipment-related projects and activities

About you

• Minimum D3 in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering/equipment role
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SMK3
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and coordination skills
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
