Chief People Officer

The Opportunity

Our portfolio company is scaling fast and looking for a Chief People Officer to build the culture, systems, and leadership that carry it through its next stage of growth and beyond.

We're seeking an exceptional People leader to guide global talent and organisational strategy through the next phase of growth. This role is designed for someone highly ambitious, excited to play a critical part in scaling the business.

You'll build and lead the People function, shifting the organisation from foundational HR to a strategic engine that drives tangible business outcomes and maximises revenue per employee.

What You'll Own

• Leadership: build and develop a world-class People & Talent team.
• Talent & performance: the systems that keep the bar high, from hiring through performance management.
• Culture: strengthen and evolve the culture as the company scales, consistently across every geography.
• Compensation & reward: a clear, competitive, scalable strategy that's fair and defensible across markets.
• Org design & compliance: architect a structure that scales across 8+ countries without fragmenting.
• Business impact & metrics: own the People roadmap and metrics, including time-to-hire, eNPS, and turnover.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone energised by shaping an emerging category at pace, comfortable with the ambiguity of a fast-scaling startup, and rigorous enough to build systems that hold under pressure.

• 12–15+ years of progressive People/HR leadership, with direct exposure to scaling hyper-growth tech organisations from 200 to 500+ employees globally.
• A proven track record building and leading high-performing People leadership teams, with the credibility to attract and develop leaders of leaders.
• A mindset that balances people and business outcomes.
• Skilled with modern HR tech, AI, and automation to drive efficiency across the talent lifecycle at scale.
• Experience leading teams across multiple international markets, navigating cross-border employment law and asynchronous work cultures.

In summary: this is a big, ambiguous, high-accountability role at a company still building the playbook as it scales. If you're looking for a fully mature org to walk into, this isn't it.
