Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organization’s corporate strategy and long-term growth plan.
• Partner with the CEO, Board, investors, and executive leadership team to establish strategic priorities and translate them into actionable initiatives.
• Identify opportunities across organic growth, pricing, market expansion, partnerships, M&A, operational improvement, and new business models.
• Lead strategic planning, competitive analysis, market research, scenario planning, and portfolio prioritization.
• Develop compelling business cases and financial models for major investments and strategic initiatives.
• Lead or support acquisitions, due diligence, integration planning, and post-transaction value creation.
• Establish enterprise-wide KPIs and monitor progress against strategic objectives.
• Partner with functional leaders to drive cross-functional transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate new markets, customer segments, products, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
• Prepare Board and investor materials related to strategy, growth, transformation, and enterprise performance.
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Build a culture of disciplined decision-making, accountability, and execution around major strategic initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven Chief Strategy Officer, EVP Strategy, SVP Strategy, VP Strategy, Corporate Development leader, or similar senior strategy experience.
• Experience within SaaS, software, technology, private equity, consulting, or another growth-oriented industry.
• Strong track record of translating strategy into measurable financial and operational results.
• Demonstrated experience with M&A, market analysis, financial modeling, and business-case development.
• Experience partnering directly with CEOs, Boards, investors, and executive leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of recurring-revenue business models, growth economics, and value creation.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication capabilities.
• Experience with strategic planning, market entry, pricing, or portfolio strategy is preferred.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Leadership Style

We’re looking for a Chief Strategy Officer who is intellectually rigorous but highly pragmatic, strategic but execution-oriented, and capable of translating complex ideas into clear action.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing long-term strategy, evaluating acquisition opportunities, analyzing markets, and working directly with functional leaders to drive execution.

Success in this role will be measured by successful execution of strategic initiatives, accelerated growth, improved operating performance, disciplined capital allocation, successful transactions, and clear progress against the organization’s long-term objectives.
