Child Care Educator

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have prior childcare and teaching experience, with a passion for supporting children's development and learning. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early education within a structured and supportive setting. The work hours are from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing a consistent daily schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations to ensure compliance with childcare standards.
• Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap times, and learning activities.
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Keep accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents as required.

Experience

• Prior experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
• Previous teaching experience working with young children is highly preferred.
• Ability to develop engaging educational activities tailored to different age groups.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Demonstrated understanding of child safety practices and developmental milestones.

Pay: $15.40 - $16.00 per hour
