Duties

• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and well-being
• Implement age-appropriate educational programs focused on childhood development and classroom management
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities
• Apply child supervision best practices, including pediatric first aid and CPR when necessary
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
• Enforce rules and behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions
• Document daily activities, incidents, and developmental milestones accurately for record-keeping purposes

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus
• Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and behavior management skills
• Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention
• Babysitting or nanny experience involving infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
