Opening Teacher – In-Home Daycare (Part-Time)

Tiny Roots Childcare is looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic opening teacher to join our team!

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–9:45 AM

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting families and children as they arrive.
• Signing children in using our childcare communication app.
• Helping children transition comfortably from home to daycare.
• Assisting with breakfast and encouraging positive mealtime routines.
• Supporting morning play and learning activities.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Communicating with families and supporting the daily morning routine.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and nurturing.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet all applicable New York State childcare employment requirements.
