Child Care Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing envrionment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.

We utilize a nursery (for infants) and a toddler room which will be provided for the following as needed:

• Sunday School & Sunday Worship (3 hours approximately)
• Wednesday Evenings (1 hour approximately)
• Optional Tuesday morning hours (these can be discussed when interviewing).

Duties:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in our facility
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for children
• Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and maintaining proper hygiene
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's needs and any concerns that may arise
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a nannying, classroom, or caregiving setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with infant care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience working with students in a preschool or early childhood education setting
• Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and order among children

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience ($20 per hour)
