Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and transitions
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Provide attentive toddler, preschooler, and infant care, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs
• Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR (Child and Infant) from recognized organizations
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong activity planning skills tailored for children’s developmental stages
• Excellent child supervision skills with a keen eye for safety at all times
• Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality
• Prior experience in babysitting or nannying is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
